Which one do you think is a bad ad?
(A) In my personal opinion this ad for shampoo is not very successful. Though what they are selling is obvious I am not quite sure who the targeted audience is, is it women? Men? Kids? or any one that wants good hair? This ad I believe to be informative because it tells you in detail what the outcome of each shampoo is. To me its almost as if they need the informative paragraphs to sell, what its product cant sell its self? Another confusing thing about this ad is the pictures of the bottles, i see no concrete reasoning why they need more than one bottle on display and the way they are positioned.
(B) The second ad I picked has to do with beauty as well, but in this case beauty with in the face. This particular ad I liked. Here it clear the product they are selling and whom their targeted audiences are. I believe it to be successful because its simple and to the point. Though it can be considered a bit informative because it describes the benefits of using this product BUT... the wording is clean and in-complex. Its an ad not a article, you don't want to bore your viewers. Another factor I like about this ad is that the background picture of the model is wearing or showing what the product does. Many of us need to see what it does before we buy.
